Member of Technical Staff – Agents Prime Intellect is building the open superintelligence stack – from frontier agentic models to the infrastructure that enables anyone to create, train, and deploy them.

Role Impact This hybrid position spans the quick, iterative development of AI agents and frameworks, and the advancement of the underlying infrastructure. You will focus on:

Building next‑generation AI agents for workload management and automation.

Developing the agent infrastructure that powers diverse agent types.

Creating technical content, engaging communities, and coordinating across teams to align technical and product goals.

Core Technical Responsibilities

Prototype and iterate AI agents for workload management and real‑time decision making.

Contribute to and extend agent frameworks to accommodate evolving feature requests and performance needs.

Explore experimental features (e.g., multi‑agent collaboration, memory architectures) to inform design choices.

Agent Infrastructure & Backbones

Architect scalable deployments that support distributed AI agent execution at scale.

Implement robust protocols for data exchange and coordination among distributed agents.

Leverage monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to track performance and resource utilization.

Manage containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker, automating infrastructure with Terraform or Ansible.

Collaboration & Community Engagement

Work closely with product, research, and engineering teams to identify key improvements and ensure agent features meet real‑world needs.

Produce clear technical documentation, guides, and demos to drive open‑source adoption.

Engage with the community by pushing code, merging pull requests, and resolving issues, championing decentralized AI best practices.

Technical Requirements

Python (FastAPI, AsyncIO) proficiency for building agent logic, REST APIs, and backend services.

Experience with PyTorch.

TypeScript/React/Next.js for creating dashboards or visualizations for agent monitoring.

Real‑time/WebSocket systems experience for streaming live updates.

API design skills for intuitive and efficient interfaces.

Infrastructure Skills

Rust for systems programming.

Container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.

Infrastructure automation and configuration management.

Cloud experience with scalable and cost‑effective infrastructure.

Nice to Have

GPU / ML infrastructure knowledge for optimizing training or inference.

Advanced AI/ML knowledge of model architectures and training workflows.

High‑performance networking experience for low‑latency data pipelines.

Open‑source contribution track record.
