Director of Business Development – Wound Care (REMOTE)
Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 per year, depending on experience and state.

Summary We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our Wound Care Division. This role focuses on growing specific sales territories in metropolitan markets by implementing strategic marketing strategies, negotiating contractual agreements, coaching sales and clinical teams, and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assess business potential, competitor activity, sales coverage, and sales strategy for hospitals in assigned metropolitan markets.
Contact key personnel in hospital systems to qualify accounts and determine appropriate sales strategy.
Keep updated on industry and marketplace trends.
Model effective leadership skills to attain regional goals and budget results.
Conduct frequent field days with designated Sales Representatives.
Provide strategic sales leadership, training and mentoring to Sales Representatives and/or Liaisons.
Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle.
Work with management to implement sales tools and best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Background investigation (company-wide)
Drug screen (when applicable)
Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
Five years’ experience in Wound Care DME sales or healthcare industry sales; preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Effective communication in English (oral and written)
Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
Multi-task with attention to detail
Self-motivated, organized, time-management and deductive problem-solving skills
Understand sales analysis, revenue management and basic corporate financial structure
Work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands
Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs during travel.
Require sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening.
Require close vision of small print on computer/tablet and/or paperwork.
