Overview We are seeking a visionary Director of Product Management to lead the charge in transforming Mailchimp into an AI-powered, omnichannel marketing platform. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to solve the single largest challenge small and mid-market businesses (SMBs) face: getting customers to grow their business.
Today's marketers face a complex landscape. Customers no longer follow a linear path; they engage across numerous online and offline touchpoints and expect a seamless, personalized experience. This has forced marketers to adopt increasingly complex tactics, resulting in 3x the number of touchpoints needed to drive a purchase compared to a decade ago. While 82% of SMBs know that using multiple channels yields better results, only 16% are confident they are using the right ones.
This is where you come in. You will architect the future of how millions of businesses connect with their customers, transforming their marketing complexity into a powerful driver of growth and loyalty.
Responsibilities
Architect the Vision: Develop and champion a clear strategy for an integrated omnichannel platform that delivers easy and AI-powered "done-for-you" experiences.
Solve Core Customer Problems: Go deep on the strategic and tactical challenges our customers face—choosing channels, optimizing marketing mix, and overcoming operational hurdles.
Drive Execution and Deliver Value: Oversee the product lifecycle to improve core marketing channels and expand into new ones, delivering tangible value through AI-powered recommendations, automated workflows, and time-saving experiences.
Leverage Intuit's Data Advantage: Build initiatives that help businesses understand the true ROI of their marketing efforts using combined marketing engagement and financial data.
Champion a Unified Experience: Partner with the data platform team to ensure foundational capabilities for a world-class omnichannel product.
Lead and Inspire: Mentor and grow a talented team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and customer‑centricity.
Collaborate to Win Across Intuit: Partner seamlessly with design, engineering, data science, GTM teams, and broader Intuit ecosystem to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
15‑20+ years of product management experience, with at least 5+ years focused on building marketing platforms or customer experiences at scale.
10+ years of experience leading and managing high‑performing product manager teams.
Proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive significant customer engagement and business growth.
Deep understanding of the MarTech landscape, including platform ecosystems and omnichannel marketing best practices.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, using data to inform decisions and optimize growth.
Ability to connect big‑picture strategy with detailed user experience and product quality.
Leadership that elevates the product function by improving team performance and execution quality.
Skillful in structuring ambiguity, providing clarity of direction, and defining a clear path forward.
Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities for diverse audiences.
Experience influencing and collaborating across all levels of a global organization.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a bonus.
