Role Overview The

Solutions Engineer’s

primary role is to serve as a technical advisor and champion for CodeRabbit customers. You will play a crucial role in the customers’ pre‑sales journey by partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to help customers appreciate the value of CodeRabbit. This role is for those who are technically curious and passionate about building AI‑powered solutions for the SDLC. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in an exciting, collaborative and fast‑paced company that’s focused on making our customers successful.

What you will do

Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions.

Translate business objectives into technical requirements and solution designs.

Drive compelling demos and impactful Proof of Value (PoV) presentations to showcase the value of the CodeRabbit platform.

Respond to security questionnaires.

Provide feedback and collaborate cross‑functionally with product and engineering teams to address customer issues with a focus on improving the product experience.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI‑powered development tools and platforms.

Contribute to the improvement of internal tools and documentation of playbooks, guides and best practices.

Support the transition from pre‑sales to post‑sales to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.

What you will bring

5+ years of experience in a customer‑facing technical role with 2+ years in a dynamic, fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.

Experience working with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously.

Strong experience with software development tools and platforms.

Comfortable working with the command line.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong sense of ownership, self‑motivation and eagerness to acquire new skills to solve new problems.

Willingness to elevate the knowledge and skills of peers through mentorship, training and shadowing.

Bonus Points for

Experience in container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).

Base pay range for this role is $150K – $190K. Actual salary will be based on job‑related skills, experience and location.
