Harp is a London-based studio specialised in bespoke music, sound design, and final mix for brands, fashion houses, and creative agencies. Overview This role manages the full production lifecycle of music and sound projects, from client brief to delivery, while supporting creative development and maintaining operational precision. Acting as the central hub between clients, creatives, and management, the Producer / Client Director ensures quality, clarity, and profitability across all work. The role also drives client relationships and new business opportunities, helping expand the studio’s presence in key markets. Ideally based in
New York or London
with a strong industry network. Remote or hybrid (on/off site) is acceptable.
Core Responsibilities
Project management:
Oversee all projects from start to finish, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Client liaison:
Lead communication with agencies and brands, manage feedback rounds, and maintain strong relationships.
Budgeting and negotiation:
Create budgets, handle quotes, negotiate rates, and track profit margins.
Scheduling:
Build and maintain calendars, production schedules, and daily task lists.
Invoicing and documentation:
Handle POs, invoices, reconciliations, NDAs, and licensing paperwork.
Archiving and delivery:
Ensure all assets, project files, and final deliverables are properly backed up and organized.
Resource coordination:
Book studios, VO artists, and freelancers as needed.
Creative and Strategic Responsibilities
Creative review:
Assist in reviewing mixes, sound design, and compositions for quality and client fit.
Pitch and presentation decks:
Write and design creative pitch decks for new business and project presentations.
Creative ideation:
Contribute ideas for treatments, music direction, and campaign strategy.
Research and copywriting:
Develop case studies, gather references, and write supporting text for decks and reels.
Presentation polish:
Curate, sequence, and package creative work for client presentations.
Business Development and Client Growth
Lead generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with agencies, brands, and production partners.
Outbound prospecting:
Research and reach out to potential clients aligned with the studio’s creative and commercial goals.
Pitch strategy:
Collaborate on proposals, treatments, and decks to win new briefs.
Relationship management:
Maintain regular contact with key clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Pipeline tracking:
Maintain CRM or internal tracking of leads, prospects, and active opportunities.
Skills and Attributes
Understanding of audio post-production workflows (Logic, stems, deliverables).
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Confidence in leading client calls, negotiations and presentations.
Ability to balance creative intuition with commercial pragmatism.
Experience in music, post-production, or creative agency environments preferred.
