JOB SUMMARY The General Manager (GM) is accountable for effectively overseeing operations at designated branches, encompassing downtown and/or airport locations. The GM responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the rental fleet, ensuring excellent customer service, and overseeing sales and operations initiatives. You manage staff, and maintain profitability through driving performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, while adhering to business processes and standards.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
You manage all operational aspects of designated branches, including downtown and/or airport locations
You develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with business requirements, enhance operational processes, and foster employee engagement
You spearhead revenue growth strategies, analyze costs effectively, and optimize incremental sales opportunities
You provide strategic oversight of business operations to ensure alignment of resources, training, and infrastructure to meet set targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
You offer guidance, mentorship, coaching, and leadership to nurture employee growth and development plans
You manage budgets, employee reviews, training, schedules, and contract negotiations for optimal efficiency
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
Experience & Education
You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or related field preferred with 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development or customer service. Experience in the car rental industry is required
Organization & Customer Service
You demonstrate a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and operational KPIs and successful leadership experience in sales operations driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
Communication Skills
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Hours & Travel
You are able to travel domestically up to 40% of the time to designated locations
