Mammography Technologist

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program that meets American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration requirements.
Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT).
Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Mammography.
Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of full‑time mammography experience.
Benefits & Compensation
Base pay range: $48.95 - $74.97 per hour.
Shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, additional shift incentives, and bonus opportunities available.
