Urologist – Full Time (BC/BE) Elkhart General Hospital, a 254‑staff Level III Trauma Center located in Elkhart, Indiana, is actively seeking full‑time Urologists to join our dynamic and collaborative team.

Job Summary We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop a new surgical urology service line for Elkhart and assist in further physician recruitment.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand a surgical urology service line.

Provide in‑office diagnostic testing such as cystoscopy and trans‑rectal ultrasound.

See patients during 3 clinic days and perform scheduled surgeries on 1–1.5 days.

Cover surgeries scheduled before and after clinic days on call days.

Provide call coverage every third weekend and every third day.

Qualifications

Board‑eligible or board‑certified urology (BC/BE).

Established physicians and new graduates welcome.

Fellowship training desired but not required.

Team‑player characteristics and strong communication skills.

Interest in developing a service line and recruiting physicians.

Work Schedule and Call

Call every third weekend and every third day.

Clinic: 3 full days per week, surgery: 1–1.5 days per week.

Cover surgeries scheduled before and after clinic days that arrive on call day.

Leadership Opportunities

Affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency for teaching residents and supervising trainees.
