About the job As part of the Market Perspectives team within the Global Market Intelligence Organization, you will lead research and programming that helps amplify the voice of our customers to influence product strategy and commercialization efforts. Global Solution Leads are focused on market perspectives, passionate problem solvers, and strategic thinkers. Team members conduct and synthesize research and manage programs that accelerate the market to product and product to market flywheel for top product areas. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Global Product Solution Leads, Product Managers, and Sellers to develop a point of view into how we can solve our customers critical challenges.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google\'s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Gather and synthesize research with sellers and customers to understand product challenges and needs.
Synthesize existing research into strategic points of view to share with GPS and Ads leaders.
Plan and execute immersive market feedback events for PMs and GPSLs to influence product strategy.
Shape product strategy and commercialization efforts.
Manage high-profile projects with senior cross-functional ads stakeholders to address customer challenges within our Ads products.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree
4 years of experience in roles conducting market research and providing product feedback (preferred)
Preferred qualifications
Experience influencing outcomes working within cross-functional teams around market research and feedback
Experience with Google’s Measurement solutions
Ability to problem-solve, analyze, and support data
Ability to uncover the needs of stakeholders/customers/users and develop solutions for multiple audiences
Ability to manage multiple complex projects with organized project management skills
