About the Position
The contractor will support FrontierView's macroeconomic research team, providing research, analysis, and content preparation for a number of topics relating to the macroeconomic, political and consumer landscape in Brazil. Notably, the contractor will monitor and analyze news to translate developments into client-relevant business impacts, help the team track and forecast Brazil’s macroeconomic indicators, prepare client‑meeting materials, and lead targeted deep dives on economic and consumer topics with robust qualitative and quantitative analysis. The contractor will also have the opportunity to attend in‑person and virtual meetings with clients, while participating in training and coaching sessions.

About FrontierView’s Global Research Team The contractor will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The global research team produces all syndicated content for FrontierView’s client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. They work in close collaboration with the commercial team in supporting FrontierView’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships.
We’re looking for a researcher with strong qualitative and quantitative skills to convert macroeconomic and political developments into clear, client‑relevant insights. Your primary focus will be on monitoring news and policy shifts, tracking and forecasting Brazil’s macroeconomic indicators, and translating these signals into business impacts and strategic recommendations for our client base. The role also entails understanding market trends, consumer behavior, channel management, and retail performance in Brazil. Strong research skills, independence, and a passion for understanding the factors shaping Brazil’s political and macroeconomic outlook will be key for this role.
About You We’re looking for a researcher with strong qualitative and quantitative skills to convert macroeconomic and political developments into clear, client‑relevant insights. Your primary focus will be on monitoring news and policy shifts, tracking and forecasting Brazil’s macroeconomic indicators, and translating these signals into business impacts and strategic recommendations for our client base. The role also entails understanding market trends, consumer behavior, channel management, and retail performance in Brazil. Strong research skills, independence, and a passion for understanding the factors shaping Brazil’s political and macroeconomic outlook will be key for this role.
What To Expect In This Position
Analyze economic and political trends that would impact Brazil's operational and demand environment
Write clear, executive‑ready insights that translate macroeconomic and political developments into concrete business implications
Help the team create visually structured slide decks that translate complex macroeconomic and political developments into client‑relevant insights
Conduct targeted deep dives on economic topics and consumer dynamics
Help the team track and forecast Brazil’s key macroeconomic and consumer indicators
What Sets You Apart
Student or recent graduate with a degree in International Relations, Administration, Economics, other related areas
Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English required
Able to work independently, with good organization and communication skills
Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to turn data and news into clear, client‑ready insights
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
Knowledge of macroeconomic fundamentals and experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research
Strong research capabilities and ability to find, organize, and critically evaluate information from a range of local and international sources
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software (R, Python, STATA) is a plus
