Senior Analyst, Cost Accounting & Product Costing Location:

Responsibilities and role purpose We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Cost Accounting & Product Costing to join our collaborative ERP transformation team. In this role, you’ll support product costing operations across our global manufacturing network, partnering with plant and operations teams to ensure accurate cost data and compliant processes. You’ll play a key role in advancing SAP deployments and modernizing product costing systems to improve visibility, streamline workflows and drive operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintain and improve standard product costing, including BOM and routing reviews, overhead and labor rate updates, and the annual standard cost roll Perform weekly work order closures and analyze purchase price variance, labor, and overhead variances Partner with Operations and Engineering to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for variances Prepare monthly COGS and inventory reports; reconcile raw material, WIP, and finished goods; investigate and resolve discrepancies Lead and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring SOX-compliant documentation and controls Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations; support internal and external audits with product costing schedules and evidence Estimate product costing for new and proposed products; provide costed BOMs to support NPI and pricing decisions Serve as the product costing SME for SAP deployments, including validation of master data, costing variants, valuation classes, and account determination Execute user acceptance testing for product costing and material ledger modules; define test scenarios such as work order closure, variance flows, and revaluation Train site super users on product costing processes; develop clear SOPs and quick reference guides Identify and drive process improvements within SAP and MES systems to reduce manual work and improve close timeliness Qualifications

Required qualifications: 3+ years of product costing and/or cost accounting Proficiency with ERP and manufacturing execution systems (MES) used in cost accounting and manufacturing environments, as well as advanced Excel Hands-on experience with work order closures, PPV/usage/labor/overhead analysis, product costing rolls, and inventory reconciliations Strong knowledge of BOMs, routings, product structures, and their impact on standard product costing and COGS Proven ability to partner with teams to resolve process and master data issues Experience with Hyperion or similar reporting tools Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting Proficiency with SAP (CO-PC, Material Ledger), SAP S/4HANA, Hyperion, and MES CMA or CPA certification Familiarity with SOX-compliant financial controls Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace), with knowledge of compliance and quality system requirements Requisition ID: 616881 Salary range:

Minimum $82,600; Maximum $156,900 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com – will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
