Senior Human Resources Generalist
Location: On-site — Port Canaveral, FL

About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Senior HR Generalist
to support our Port Canaveral facility of ~100 employees. This role is a mix of strategic HR leadership and hands-on support, driving employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. You’ll work closely with managers and employees across the site, building strong relationships and ensuring HR initiatives align with business needs.
What You’ll Do
Coach, counsel, and guide employees and managers at all levels.
Implement HR strategies in talent management, staffing, retention, and organizational development.
Partner with leadership on performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
Lead recruitment efforts and build a sustainable talent pipeline for technical, production, and supervisory roles.
Promote positive employee relations, engagement, and open communication.
Provide support on employee relations, workers’ compensation, benefits, policy interpretation, and compliance matters.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Spend time on the manufacturing floor (minimum 40%) to connect with employees and proactively address concerns.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in union environments and collective bargaining (preferred).
Strong knowledge across HR functions: talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, leadership development, and organizational change.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
Work Environment This role is based in a plant environment and requires time on the production floor. Protective gear may be required. Flexibility with hours is expected based on business needs.
