Crane Operator
Pay: $26.01 per hour.
We have housing and transportation if you need to relocate. We provide a full-year contract. Relocation assistance.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Crane Operator
to join our team. The Crane Operator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and precise operation of a mobile rotating cab crane. This role plays a key part in ensuring that loads are lifted, moved, and placed according to safety regulations and project requirements.
This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with crew members on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Operate cranes
to lift, move, and position loads safely and efficiently.
Perform daily inspections
of crane equipment in compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.
Conduct setup of cranes
at job sites, including placing blocks, mats, and outriggers to ensure stability.
Attach and secure loads
with proper rigging and ensure all lifts meet safety standards.
Follow lift and rigging plans , hand signals, and verbal instructions.
Keep accurate records
of inspections and basic maintenance performed.
Maintain overall cleanliness and safety
of crane and work area.
Communicate clearly
with team members to ensure safe job execution.
Perform
other duties
as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
Experience required.
Certification:
Not required but a plus.
Licensing:
Valid
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
with a clean motor vehicle record.
Education:
High School diploma or GED required (Associate’s in mechanical/electrical field ).
