Role Description This is a part-time (Contract/Employee) on-site role for a Licensed Massage Therapist located in Daly City, CA. The Licensed Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing therapeutic massages to help manage stress and enhance patient recovery. The role will also involve collaborating with other health providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Day-to-day tasks include performing various massage techniques, maintaining patient records, and delivering excellent customer service. This job is great for beginners and/or intermediate therapists Qualifications Customer Service skills Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage, including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Lymphatic, and Sports Massage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Physical stamina and ability to work in a standing position for extended periods Certification from an accredited massage therapy program Valid state license to practice massage therapy Liability Insurance Coverage CPR and First Aid certification is a plus Responsibilities Assess patient/client needs prior to start of massage 15/30/60/90 minutes massage as instructed by the doctor SOAP notes on patients/clients Fold and organize sheets in their proper place (linen area) Replenish supplies in work areas as needed Clean rooms after each session Communicate with staff as needed Salary $30-$35/hr (plus tips for 60/90 massage clients) Availability Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 9:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm (up to 21 hrs/week) Benefits: Chiropractic treatment (2x/month) Acupuncture (1x/month) NO OTHER BENEFITS AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION Employment Type: Part Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $30 - $35 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
