ADC InfraOps Decom Tech, ADC InfraOps Decom Tech – Job ID: 3113596 | Amazon Data Services, Inc. We are establishing a Decommissioning Technical team to liquidate legacy data center equipment safely and securely so we can offer new technology to our customers. Team members will process large volumes of customer media ensuring that all customer data is sanitized and handled securely. Decisions are guided by Safety, Security, and Availability. This position requires candidates to be self-starting, highly detail-oriented, motivated, and collaborative. The role involves decommissioning preparation, safe removal of IT equipment, data sanitization, inventory management, and daily collaboration with teams. Responsibilities

Communicate with local teams to ensure all proper decommissioning preparation work is completed on schedule. Remove IT equipment from server racks in accordance with documented safety and security procedures. Sanitize customer data and maintain secure custody of all equipment. Conduct inventories of decommissioned equipment. Participate in daily sync meetings. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in cramped and/or elevated locations. Make sure customer bearing data components are removed and sanitized from host/racks. Perform audits of failed parts. Perform cable decommissioning. Prepare e-waste shipments. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
