Location & Schedule Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. This job is on‑site.

FTE: 0.9. Standard Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Shift 1 (first shift, start times 0645‑0830). 1 day off every 2 weeks. Holidays: No scheduled worked holidays; 1 holiday call per calendar year, dependent on seniority. Weekends: No scheduled weekends.

Job Summary At the direction of a radiologist or other provider, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology, operating imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies per guidelines and prescribed protocols with appropriate radiation protection. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports excellence initiatives. Provides positive, effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities Perform diagnostic studies, operate imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety.

Provide quality patient care and maintain professional standards.

Assist in ancillary services and coordinate with team as required.

Experience One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.

Education Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Additional 1‑2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred but not required.

Special Skills Self‑motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.

Licensure ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
