About the Role
SAIC is seeking a Fleet Systems Integrator to provide technical installation, integration, and break‑fix support to Fleet customers in support of NAVWAR’s Naval Operational Architecture (NOA). The role requires direct engagement with warfighter end‑users, fleet stakeholders, and development teams across afloat, shore, and submarine platforms. The selected candidate will ensure key command and control (C2) capabilities are installed and operational, supporting mission readiness. The position is funded for five years with 25% travel.
Responsibilities
Provide installation, troubleshooting, and remote support for C4I Tactical Networks and/or PoRs (e.g., CANES, GCCS‑M, DCGS‑N).
Execute break‑fix actions, installation, and integration support within lab, shore, and on surface platforms.
Support travel efforts for complex integration activities.
Contribute to engineering teams and IPTs toward development of system/application integration solutions within a DEVSECOPS construct.
Participate in project planning, Scrum, daily standups, ECCBs, and other development activities.
Provide Tier 1–3 support, both remote and onsite.
Successful track record with shipboard network and/or application installations/integrations.
Experience with installation, troubleshooting, remote support with C4I Tactical Networks and/or PoRs.
Knowledge of Agile Core Services (ACS) and associated applications.
Qualifications
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Mathematics with concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
IATII/CSWF compliant.
Security+ certification.
US Citizenship.
Active Secret clearance (eligible for TS/SCI).
Required Skills and Experience
Two (2+) years of professional experience supporting IT Networks.
Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, hybrid).
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP).
Experience with network virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
Working knowledge of client/server architectures (Windows/Linux).
Containerization familiarity (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, VBS).
Experience with C4I Tactical Networks and/or PoRs.
Familiarity with Agile Core Services (ACS) and related applications.
Team collaboration experience and ability to work cross‑functionally.
Salary
Target salary range: $80,001 – $120,000.
