Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director or Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, the Site Administrator Lead uses seasoned administrative operations experience to manage, plan and administer the operations of a small to mid-sized organizational unit with limited scope. S/he supports the overall aspects of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services and clinical departments within the Pritzker Building. S/he directly supports the Director and Ambulatory Executive Medical Directors within Behavioral Health. Manage and coordinate special projects/assignments as they arise within the Pritzker Building. Assist in process improvement, including the planning, development, implementation, training, and sustainment of a daily engagement system. Keep track of dashboards and metrics. Department Description

UCSF\'s behavioral health clinics provide a broad range of outpatient psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and treatment interventions for emotional, psychological, or cognitive problems. Clinical programs are located in the UCSF Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building in San Francisco\'s Dogpatch neighborhood. The building combines outpatient mental health care for people of all ages with programs in psychiatry and psychology training and research, alongside other specialties to provide world-class clinical care and research opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. At least 1-2 years of project management and/or leading a team. Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate; coordinate and integrate with others throughout the organization. Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; data management skills; knowledge of healthcare/clinic operations IT, including billing systems and medical record documentation. Ability to teach others. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Analytical/problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and delegate efficiently. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and to influence staff at all levels. Knowledge of administrative operational activities such as planning, fundraising processes, risk management, website design, accounting and payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong skills in short-term planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service. Knowledge of high reliability organization methods, financial analysis and reporting, and HR policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
