Job Title and Location
Vice President of Regional Operations Manager – Chicago, IL area
Key Responsibilities
Direct Regional Managers and align regional goals with national initiatives. Translate executive objectives into measurable regional outcomes. Foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Support enterprise-wide systems implementation (ERP, HRIS, LMS, QA).
Operational Excellence
Ensure consistency in staffing, scheduling, payroll, and policy compliance. Monitor QA metrics, turnover, and client satisfaction; drive improvements. Mentor Regional Managers and standardize best practices. Ensure SLA compliance and proactive issue resolution.
Financial Oversight
Manage P&L across regions, ensuring profitability and service quality. Develop budgets and forecasts; control expenses. Partner with Finance to optimize workforce and ROI. Lead initiatives to reduce overtime and improve retention.
Client Relations & Growth
Build executive-level client relationships and represent Sunstates professionally. Identify growth opportunities and support expansion strategies. Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing.
People & Culture
Mentor and develop Regional Managers and future leaders. Promote succession planning and leadership development. Ensure compliance with licensing and onboarding standards. Champion Sunstates’ employee-first culture.
Qualifications
Minimum of eight (8) years of management experience in the contract security industry. Proven leadership, organizational, communication, and time management skills. Eligibility for security officer licensure in all operational areas. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with electronic payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems. Ability to travel frequently within the region and maintain 24/7 availability.
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college/university Driver’s License
