Overview Fidelity’s Workplace Digital Experience (WDX) architecture team is seeking an experienced solution architect to enable modern and captivating digital experiences for customers, sponsors, and associates. The role bridges business and technical teams to transform our Defined Contributions and other workplace products.
Responsibilities
Design meaningful, sophisticated solutions to address stimulating business challenges.
Collaborate with product leadership to ensure business goals and requirements are met.
Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams to help them effectively develop and deliver solutions.
Qualifications
Experience architecting and building large‑scale, high‑performing internet‑facing platforms that align with architecture blueprints and technical standards where security is paramount.
Demonstrated experience designing elegant, consumable APIs with technologies including Spring Boot, Java, Open API Specification/REST, and Open Policy Agent.
Contributed to defining and documenting architectural patterns, standards, and blueprints, evaluating proposed solutions for alignment.
Understand the business domain and serve as a trusted advisor to product leadership, influencing roadmaps.
Build effective relationships and collaborate with engineering teams for consultation and guidance.
Work independently or with others, leading multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Expert communicator, translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and vice versa.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
