Responsibilities
Project Design for Site Development
Grading and Drainage Plans
Utility Systems for Water and Sewer
Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates
Project Management Assistance: Budgeting, Schedules, Client Care, Invoicing
Design Team collaboration and support
Roadway/Streets final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections
Roadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans
Knowledge of Federal, State, City and County Standards
Conceptual Studies and report preparation
Preparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates
Requirements
6+ years of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, roadways, and public works
B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent
Professional Engineering license in the State of California is highly preferred
AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required
Physical Demands Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.
Work Conditions Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.

Typical base salary range: $103,000 - $142,000 annualized depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location
