US Analyst Program The U.S. Analyst program offers an opportunity for recent college graduates interested in finance and investment banking to actively participate in this fast-paced and challenging industry. We provide our U.S. Analyst with the tools necessary for professional growth and career advancement. The U.S. experience fosters the opportunity to connect with people who can help guide your career. The U.S. Analyst position will be available for a maximum of 2 years. The goal of the U.S. Analyst program is to develop the ideal candidate for consideration to a potential full-time position at the end of the two years, if available. Position Summary The task will be to work closely with the Shipping Finance and Intermodal Finance teams, assisting the associates and directors on the coverage and management of a portfolio of existing clients and prospective clients (mainly shipowners and container boxes lessors) in the Americas. You will liaise with several teams within Credit Agricole CIB, including but not limited to: middle office and agency, head office coordination, risk, compliance and Know Your Client. Primary Responsibilities Prepare marketing presentations. Prepare and update Know Your Customers checks and memos. Participate in the structuring of new transactions, including the preparation of cash flow models and support team members with regards to deal execution. Prepare credit analysis packages for presentation to credit committee, including financial and risk analysis, internal rating assessment. Monitor and keep updated the relevant bank systems. Prepare specific market analysis. Participate in the documentation process of the loan transactions in coordination with external legal counsels until successful closing. Clients/transactions annual reviews work in relation to the existing portfolio of clients/transactions, including latest financial analysis, covenant monitoring, reporting and relationships with other lenders. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Recent college graduate (graduation dates ranging from September 2024 – 2025) Candidate is eligible work in the US You will not require Visa Sponsorship now or in the future, including CPT, OPT or F-1 Visa Preferred Qualifications: Internship experience in finance (ideally in Transportation and/or Asset Finance). Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and multitasking skills. Strong financial accounting and financial modelling skills. Excellent understanding of the business environment and macroeconomics, including world economy and international trade dynamics. Excellent communication and writing skills. Strong team player that takes initiative on projects.
