Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including government, and more. What You’ll Do

Monitor and patrol assigned government locations, deter security-related incidents, and respond quickly to unusual activity. Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence to support a secure environment. Interact with the public and staff, communicate clearly, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Be available to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise. Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies. Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, maintaining composure at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols, remaining alert to unusual activity or security concerns on the government site and its perimeter. Maintain a visible and attentive presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity. Operate as an armed security professional, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company protocols for armed posts. Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts as required. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to support coordinated responses. Remain knowledgeable of post orders, emergency procedures, and site-specific guidelines for armed patrols at government facilities. What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit. Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess a current armed guard card or license. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Subject to a background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws. Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
