Overview An established emergency animal hospital in Humble, Texas is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role and guide a skilled, passionate team of veterinary professionals. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support the medical team to maintain high standards of patient care

Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to veterinary staff

Develop and implement medical protocols and best practices

Perform diagnostic evaluations, medical treatments, and emergency procedures

Foster a culture of teamwork, learning, and respect among all staff members

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree

Active or eligible Texas veterinary license

Proven leadership or management experience in clinical settings

Excellent communication and decision-making skills

Dedication to advancing medical standards and supporting team development
