Position Information Job Title Job Title Adjunct Instructor- Agribusiness Posting Number Posting Number FY140378PT Position Summary Information Job Description Summary This is a part-time faculty position teaching courses in Agribusiness. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, hybrid, blended, NCIH broadcast, and lab-based sections. This position may also serve as a substitute instructor for other Agribusiness courses on an as-needed basis. Location Location Washington, NC Type of Position Type of Position Faculty Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time/Part-Time Part Time Terms of Employment Terms of Employment Contracted Term Minimum Qualifications An Associate’s Degree in Agriculture or related field of study from a regionally accredited institution with experience in an agribusiness. OR A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Education, or related area of study from a regionally accredited institution. Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level. • Provide classroom and laboratory instruction for students in a traditional course setting. • Participate in course and curriculum design. • Adhere to the departmental course guidelines and ensure that content covers approved student learning outcomes. • Maintain all required college records including attendance and grade reports. • Evaluate student performance using methods appropriate to the course. • Measure and report required student learning outcomes. • Assist students in receiving needed instructional resources. • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About Us Beaufort County Community College serves a 2,100 square mile service region comprised of four counties (Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington) in coastal North Carolina.
