Overview
Program Coordinator I - Neuro-Ophthalmology. Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid, Monday–Friday. This position is based in Boston, with possible travel to our Ophthalmology Offices in Waltham, Needham, and Mass Eye & Ear Boston with advance notice as needed. Responsibilities
Coordinates activities and daily operations of a program. May prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors. Confers with staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance and answers about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed. May prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies. May review applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to the program. May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts. Drafts written communications and promotional materials. May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications. Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 1 year of related experience; ability to communicate effectively and with empathy, both orally and in writing; ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies. Salary and Benefits
