Marketing Director, TrueMark Investments

Role Overview The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive awareness, growth, and adoption of TrueShares’ ETF products. This includes positioning in competitive ETF / investment markets, investor education, digital & content marketing, partner and channel marketing, and managing brand perception. They will collaborate with an internal team and external partners to build a robust pipeline of investor interest, maintain high standards of content and thought leadership, and increase market share for our ETF offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & implement strategic marketing campaigns aligned with the company’s growth objectives, product launches, and positioning in the ETF space.
Define and refine product positioning, target investor personas, messaging, and value propositions for existing and new ETFs.
Maintain all aspects of brand strategy: brand identity, voice, visual presentation; ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Develop content marketing, thought leadership, and communications: white papers, blog posts, fund commentary, analyst reports, investor education, etc.
Lead digital design initiatives, leveraging UX/UI best practices to create visually compelling, user‑friendly experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
Work with sales / distribution / channel partners / financial advisors to develop partner marketing programs and support go‑to‑market efforts.
Engage media & PR strategy: press releases, speaking opportunities, media relationships, industry awards, events / webinars.
Measure, analyze, and report marketing ROI; define metrics and KPIs (e.g. AUM growth, lead generation, website traffic, conversion rates, cost per lead, brand awareness, etc.).
Stay abreast of industry trends (ETF product innovation, regulation, competitive landscape) to proactively adapt marketing strategy.
Ideal Qualifications
Experience:
7-10+ years in investment management / asset management marketing, preferably with ETFs or mutual funds, or related financial services. Proven track record of growing a fund lineup’s market presence.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset:
Able to translate data into strategy; skilled at defining target audiences, measuring performance, optimizing campaigns.
Product Marketing Skills:
Experience launching new financial products (ETFs, outcome strategies, etc.), defining positioning and messaging that resonates with investment professionals and retail investors.
Digital & Content Expertise:
Strong background in content strategy, digital channels (SEO, social, email, web), and modern marketing tech/tools.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Comfortable working cross‑functionally (investment teams, legal/compliance, operations, sales/distribution).
Communication Skills:
Excellent writing and presentation abilities; able to convey complex investment concepts clearly and compellingly.
Brand / Creative Judgment:
Sensitivity to brand standards; ability to oversee design, creative, and visual messaging to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Regulatory / Compliance Awareness:
Understanding of financial services / ETF‑specific regulations, disclosure requirements, and compliance constraints in marketing materials.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
