Job Title: RPA Business Analyst – Retail/Manufacturing Domain
Location: Sunnyvale, California
Travel: May require travel to client/project locations
Type: Contract
Client seeking a detail-oriented and business-focused RPA Business Analyst to support enterprise-wide automation initiatives for a leading retail/manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, document business requirements, and support the delivery of intelligent automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and evaluate automation opportunities across retail and manufacturing processes.
Conduct process discovery, feasibility analysis, and ROI assessments to prioritize automation use cases.
Create and maintain Process Design Documents (PDDs) and assist in Solution Design Documents (SDDs) with technical teams.
Act as a liaison between business users and RPA developers to ensure accurate and complete requirement translation.
Support change management, training, and adoption efforts for automation initiatives.
Monitor automation performance against business KPIs and recommend improvements.
Contribute to the development of automation roadmaps and reusable assets within the CoE.
Explore integration of Agentic AI capabilities to enhance automation with intelligent decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in RPA-related roles.
Strong understanding of RPA platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
Experience in documenting business processes and creating PDDs.
Familiarity with retail/manufacturing operations and automation use cases.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to hybrid automation environments and Agentic AI concepts.
Experience working in a CoE or enterprise automation setup.
Ability to facilitate workshops and training sessions.
Strong presentation skills for client interactions and proposal support.
