What You’ll Be Working On Responsible for overall management and direction of the production process, leading the team and ensuring store performance meets financial goals.
Store Performance
Meet financial targets and key metrics.
Monitor pace of work and analyze metrics.
Ensure shop‑ability and positive donor experience.
Prioritize and direct team activity.
Leadership and Development
Lead supervisors and production team.
Plan staffing and coordinate recruitment.
Observe, coach, counsel supervisors and team members.
Develop high‑potential leaders.
Maintain respectful, values‑driven workplace.
Provide recognition and feedback.
Customer/Donor Service
Respond to questions and complaints.
Deliver positive donor experience.
Gather feedback to improve experience.
Implement sales and marketing promotions.
Consistent Production
Manage item put‑out condition, production margin, and back‑stock.
Ensure all sellable items are available.
Plan and direct work to meet sales and profit objectives.
Oversee production workflow efficiencies.
Conduct quality control checks.
Lead morning maintenance program.
Collaborate with Donation Manager to manage OSD flow.
Ensure daily stock‑on‑hand accuracy.
Leverage recycling program to reduce landfill.
Loss Prevention and Safety
Protect assets and information.
Promote loss prevention awareness.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Oversee certification process (Big Joe, baler, LOTO).
What You Have
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Observation, assessment, and coaching ability.
Common sense in executing instructions.
Judgment and independent decision‑making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience
High school diploma; post‑secondary degree preferred.
Results‑driven retail store or industrial management experience.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry products up to 50 lb.; push/pull racks 50‑250 lb.
Reaching and handling merchandise.
Dexterity for complex hand‑eye tasks.
Standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, occasional kneeling.
Read written and electronic documents.
Verbal communication with management, staff, and customers.
Potential exposure to machinery, solvents, dust, temperature fluctuations.
Work nights, weekends, holidays as required.
Navigate large industrial machinery and forklifts safely.
Other Details Exempt under FLSA. Will periodically drive for meetings or business purposes.
