THE JOB The Vice President of Hospitality is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and integration of all directives developed through the Hotel and F&B Strategy CoEs for the assigned property Hotel and F&B Divisions. In collaboration with the CoEs, will execute on the strategic direction of the Hotel and F&B functions, encompassing Front Office, Front Services, VIP Services, Group Reservations & Services, Spa & Salon, Housekeeping, EVS, Pool, all F&B areas, and if applicable VIP Services. Accountable for the oversight and leadership of all staffing, Guest Service Initiatives and Employee Engagement, and ownership of all profitability of Hotel and F&B Divisions.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

In collaboration with the Hotel Strategy and F&B CoEs, responsible for implementing strategic initiatives provided by the CoEs to ensure execution and sustainability at their property

Owns execution for implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations for all hotel and F&B staff to ensure full compliance

Drives employee engagement for the hotel and F&B divisions utilizing the tools provided and through coaching, training, and development

Provides leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience within the Hotel and F&B divisions, consistent with the company’s service standards

Utilizes resources provided by CoE’s to drive financial success to include managing sales, driving profits, managing labor, and controlling expenses

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and has 6+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of five years in a hotel environment with demonstrated success in managing large teams and driving operational excellence in a resort setting.

They possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including service optimization systems, brand implementation, cost control, and regulatory compliance. This individual excels in strategic planning and execution, leveraging best practices and financial acumen to meet and exceed business objectives.

They are a collaborative and influential leader who fosters cross-functional partnerships to achieve organizational goals. Known for their ability to engage, develop, and mentor teams, they create a culture of accountability, consistency, and excellence aligned with brand and service standards.

Overall, this candidate demonstrates strong organizational leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise, ensuring the successful direction of hotel operations and sustained business performance.
