Position Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a part-time Early Career Cyber Network Operations Software Engineer. As a CNO Developer, you will work on mission-critical programs developing specialized cyber tools, techniques and integrated effects. The work requires a high level of engagement and ingenuity beyond a typical Cyber Security role. We are composing creative offensive cyber solutions to real-world problems in support of national security. From Day One, you will be launched into challenging projects leveraging knowledge of OS security features, reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, networking, firmware, kernel-level development, and OS platform internals.
Basic Qualifications
Experience performing Software Development and writing in languages such as C, C++, Python, Assembly
Experience/knowledge developing, testing and debugging code (operating system kernel development is desired)
Experience/knowledge of network protocols and data flows or related concepts
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship
Desired Skills
Demonstrated experience with memory management and threading
In-depth experience in tool development and kernel architecture in Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android
Software development experience including design, implementation, testing, analysis and debugging for CNO/CNE
Experience in vulnerability research and applying analysis techniques
Experience in reverse engineering in architectures such as x86 and ARM
Understanding of low-level operating systems development and APIs
Experience writing OS-level code and extensions (e.g., device drivers for networking, storage, audio, video)
Experience performing Software Configuration Management
Experience writing unit tests when developing or debugging software
Active TS/SCI clearance
