Job Overview The Senior Vice President of Sales (SVP of Sales) will lead Upbit's global sales strategy, focusing on institutional partnerships, liquidity growth, and cross‑regional revenue expansion. This executive position is responsible for driving business growth through strategic customer acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a results‑oriented leader with a deep understanding of digital assets, the trading ecosystem, and the global financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute Upbit's global sales and business development strategy for institutional, enterprise, and retail segments.

Work with the CEO, Chief Business Officer, and senior management team to define the company's revenue roadmap and commercial priorities.

Build a high‑performing, data‑driven sales team aligned with Upbit's strategic objectives.

Develop a go‑to‑market framework to accelerate user acquisition, market penetration, and trading volume growth.

Drive institutional client engagement, including hedge funds, family offices, asset managers, and corporate partners.

Lead global initiatives for OTC, API, and liquidity partnerships.

Build long‑term relationships with key industry players, payment providers, and ecosystem partners.

Identify and negotiate strategic alliances, joint ventures, and market entry opportunities.

Set ambitious revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement through performance management and accountability.

Develop forecasting, sales analytics, and KPI reporting systems to enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure market feedback informs product innovation and user experience.

Work closely with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure adherence to global regulatory requirements.

Work with marketing and brand teams to align sales initiatives with Upbit's positioning and communications.

Support executive decision‑making through detailed analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations.

Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing, customer‑centric global sales team.

Facilitate collaboration across regional offices to ensure consistency and excellence in customer engagement.

Promote Upbit's values of transparency, security, and innovation in all business activities.

Qualifications 20+ years of experience in sales leadership, business development, or revenue operations, preferably in the fintech, cryptocurrency, or global financial services sectors.

Proven track record of scaling institutional or enterprise sales teams.

In‑depth understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading infrastructure, and liquidity management.

Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and executive communication skills.

Data‑driven mindset with experience using CRM systems, analytics, and performance management tools.

Experience working with regulators and global financial institutions is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Fluent English required; proficiency in Korean or other languages is a plus.
