Full‑time Monday through Friday, 7pm to 8am, with rotating weekends and holidays. Benefits

Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process and following all established standards of practice within state and federal guidelines. Provide supervision of non‑RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff; supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role. Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested. Adhere to all Stamford Hospital policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Provide safe and therapeutic care using values inherent in our hospital culture. Support all nursing units to ensure adequate staffing and optimum patient care. Deliver direct patient care, assess physical and psychosocial condition, develop and communicate patient plan of care. Collaborate with patient, family, and healthcare team; provide education as indicated. Communicate effectively with all members of the team; maintain effective working relationships. Display a positive attitude and work to achieve an environment of respect, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and compassion. Maintain patient confidentiality, practice the 5 rights of patient safety, respond to crisis calmly, evaluate patient outcomes, and document all care accurately. Maintain equipment and supplies, participate in performance improvement and risk management, clinical research, regulatory readiness, and unit‑specific initiatives. Comply with attendance policy, dress code, and all hospital policies. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Valid Connecticut RN license Minimum of 2 years critical care experience (ED or ICU) BSN preferred BLS & ACLS required NIHSS & PALS (obtain by the end of orientation) TNCC preferred Minimum of 6 contact hours annually Commitment to inclusive workplace and diversity Job Details
