The Program Director will direct the curriculum and instruction of the EMT Program at US Colleges, acting as a liaison to other departments to market to and enroll prospective EMT students through training and information sharing. Responsibilities
Curriculum Management — ensure compliance with evolving EMS laws and California EMS directives, updating curriculum as needed. Instructor Acquisition, Evaluation & Scheduling — recruit qualified instructors, manage scheduling to fit availability, and evaluate instructor performance and student progress. Lead Instructor — serve as Lead Instructor with license on file with the applicable County and lead most class sessions. Marketing/Admissions Support — provide training and support to marketing and admissions to improve lead quality and ensure appropriate outreach to prospective students interested in becoming EMTs. Branch Campus Management — work with the Director of Education to establish and approve EMT programs at additional campuses, ensuring alignment with local governing bodies. Qualifications
Paramedic with NREMT certification at minimum, or Physician, Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or a Paramedic licensed in California, with two (2) years of academic or clinical emergency medicine or prehospital care experience in the last five (5) years. Benefits and Environment
