Introduction Pre-Sales professional to partner with our consulting team as we continue to grow our market. The Oracle Cloud Technology Pre-Sales Director will play an integral role on our Public Sector SLED Sales team to grow AST’s local presence through the identification, nurturing and closing of consulting services engagements.

The Oracle Cloud Technology Pre-Sales Director will play an integral role on our Public Sector SLED Sales team to grow AST’s local presence through the identification, nurturing and closing of consulting services engagements.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
3-5 years of Cloud Technology Presales experience
Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, generative and agentic AI/ML, and various cloud services.
Solution Design and Architecture: Experience in designing and architecting cloud-based solutions, considering scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients and presenting technical solutions.
Customer Focus: Ability to understand and address customer needs and pain points.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and proposing effective solutions.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of specific industry verticals and their cloud adoption requirements.
Cloud Certifications: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure) are preferred.
Prior work experience selling Oracle technologies is a big plus.
Passionate about advances in enterprise technologies and intentional in delivering compelling solutions to enterprise customers.
Exposure to advanced technologies/use case experience with AI/ML
Experience with non-Oracle technologies including, but not limited to: Integration – webMethods, Boomi, Jitterbit, MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Workflow automation– UiPath, Jira
Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
Able to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision, yet participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
Dynamic communicator, with excellent verbal and writing skills.
Hands-on experience creating and presenting engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level, organized, entrepreneurial, self-starter with applications sales experience, with a focus on building relationships, and executing vision.
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
