MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) seeks a Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health outpatient team in Biddeford, Maine. In this dynamic role, you will be working in a hybrid model, providing treatment of patients in the MaineHealth Behavioral Health continuum of care. The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient services in Biddeford with potential support in our Springvale location, directing care to a panel of complex patients in a multidisciplinary model. You'll enjoy professional autonomy with the support of a deeply experienced care team—and a coastal location rich with outdoor adventure, community charm, and quality living.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School, with completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
Current or eligible licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or eligible to sit for the examination, with written evidence.
Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
Current DEA Registration Certificate.
At least 3 years of experience, inclusive of residency and/or fellowship training.
Meet other credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By‑laws.
