Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms.

Implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Python-based frameworks.

Perform backend validation, including API, database, and ETL testing using tools such as Postman, Informatica, and custom automation libraries.

Verify system integrations between telecom billing components, CRM systems, and data warehouses.

Contribute to continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools.

Collaborate with development teams to identify defects early via shift-left testing practices.

Analyze automation results, publish execution metrics, and drive improvement in test coverage and efficiency.

Manage manual fallback testing for complex or non-automatable business scenarios.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, CT Core, and Informatica.

Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).

Experience in Web and Mobile (Android/iOS) testing and Backend/API testing.

Solid understanding of telecom domains such as billing, subscriptions, rating, and invoicing.

Knowledge of data validation, mapping, and transformation between systems.

Familiarity with GIT version control, Postman, and REST API validation.

Exposure to test automation strategy, framework design, and test data management.

Ability to read and interpret system design and migration documents (e.g., HLDs, API specs, mapping files).

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Experience with Telecom BSS, including Billing & Invoicing, Subscriber Lifecycle for Prepaid & Postpaid, Price Plan/xx Plan, Rental agreements, Dunning, Provisioning, Auxiliary Services, Promotions, and Mediation.

Experience working on Data Migration projects is a plus.

Strong documentation skills at all important project stages.

Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.

Experience dealing with customers and main product owners.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, management, and individual contributors.
