Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios, create test plans, and execute test cases.
Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment processes.
Analyze test results and work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in automation testing, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
Contribute to the overall improvement of software quality by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.
Requirements
Proven experience of at least (5-7 years) in automation testing, with a focus on API and UI testing.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Proficiency in RESTful API testing and understanding of API technologies (e.g., JSON, XML, HTTP).
Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
