MD, Head of Control and Regulatory Integration What is the Opportunity?

Responsible for control and regulatory integration activities for Consolidated US Operations (CUSO) and global Capital Markets (CM). Lead a first line of defense (1LOD) team to manage regulatory exams, internal audits, policy documentation, and regulatory changes.

What will you do?

Design, develop and manage a 1LOD Control and Regulatory Integration team.

Collaborate with CUSO 1LOD and 2LOD partners to design consistent processes for exams, audits, regulatory change and findings management.

Communicate changes to control effectiveness to CUSO CCO team members to update risk registers and framework tools.

Support CUSO businesses in establishing internal control structures and documenting controls.

Standardize non‑financial risk and control reporting for the CEO, Senior Management and Board.

Support the US Scenario Analysis program.

Foster stakeholder relationships and provide advisory support to 1LOD stakeholders.

Lead the function including people, processes, technology, OKRs, messaging, training, and risk awareness.

Contribute to committees and forums to share insights, align priorities, and drive efficiency.

What do you need to succeed?

Experience leading large teams across regions.

Extensive knowledge of Capital Markets, Wealth/Consumer services, and Operations.

Advanced expertise in 1st line risks and regulatory controls across regions and products.

Experience leading exams, audits, remediation and issues management.

Direct engagement with US, Canadian, and international regulators.

Technology implementation to enhance controls and efficiencies.

Strong communication skills with senior executives and regulators.

Independent problem solving and judgment.

Ability to work independently without immediate supervision.

Previous 1LOD experience in business and operations ideally.

Expected salary range: $200,000 – $320,000. Eligibility for discretionary variable compensation.
