Job Summary Registered Nurse position in the Antepartum/Postpartum Unit. Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and maintain patient safety and quality across three private rooms and two postpartum units.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care to antepartum and postpartum patients.
Systematically assess health care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Coordinate care with obstetric nurses, physicians, and support staff.
Utilize cardiac telemetry monitoring and centralized fetal monitoring systems.
Maintain unit‑based competencies and complete mandatory emergency skills training.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
Act as a patient advocate, maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
Honor the collaborative relationship with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
1–3 years of related clinical experience required.
Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and teamwork skills.
Education & Experience Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred; minimum requirement is a graduated accredited Nursing Program. 1–3 years related experience required.
