Brabeion Academy is Idaho’s first public charter sports school located in Nampa, Idaho (about 20 miles west of Boise) dedicated to fostering academic and athletic excellence. Brabeion Academy is seeking a CAO to serve as a key member of our leadership team for a target start date in Spring 2026 for the 2026-27 school year. The CAO will be responsible for overseeing the academic vision and instructional excellence of Idaho’s First Public School of Sport. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and strategic leader to shape our curriculum, mentor our team, and ensure academic rigor is at the forefront of our school’s mission.
As a leader at Brabeion Academy, the CAO will play a central role in cultivating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership:
Serve as the school's principal, providing day-to-day leadership and management. Performance and Development:
Conduct teacher evaluations in conjunction with the Head of School and Sport and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to ensure a high level of instructional quality. Strategic Oversight:
Lead the school’s academic team and oversee federal programs to ensure compliance and maximize resources. Curriculum & Assessment:
Guide the implementation and analysis of our core curriculum, including our exclusive American Experience featuring Hillsdale 1776 curriculum and Core Knowledge (CKSci, CKLA) curricula, to drive student achievement. The CAO will also serve as the school's testing and assessment coordinator. Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$80,000 to $90,000 annually (DOE). Benefits:

Reports to:
Head of School and Sport Required Qualifications: Hold an Idaho administrator certification or be able to get one (required). Possess a minimum of three years of experience in a school administrator role. Bilingual in Spanish (strongly preferred). Experience with Core Knowledge curriculum (strongly preferred). Background in athletics either as a coach, administrator or athlete (strongly preferred). Workplace:
The position is a full-time, on-site role with a 10-month contract located in Nampa, Idaho.
