Overview

Position Overview As a Senior Associate supporting Global Citizenship & Sustainability Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in advancing Ralph Lauren’s Global Citizenship & Sustainability (GC&S) reporting strategy. You will assist in the implementation of GC&S reporting controls, support data validation efforts, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the completeness and accuracy of GC&S disclosures. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of GC&S reporting processes and help drive readiness for evolving regulatory requirements, including CSRD. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative professional with a passion for and strong foundation in sustainability reporting.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of the Global Citizenship & Sustainability reporting strategy, including the transition from voluntary to regulatory disclosures

Monitor evolving ESG regulations and frameworks (e.g., CSRD, ISSB) and support readiness efforts

Contribute to the adoption and rollout of an ESG reporting tool and the education of internal stakeholders on roles and best practices in ongoing use of the platform

Validate qualitative and quantitative ESG data, ensuring data governance and review procedures were performed

Support the implementation and documentation of Global Citizenship & Sustainability reporting internal controls, maintaining organized documentation to support internal reviews and external assurance of disclosures for completeness and accuracy

Support assurance readiness, including coordination with third-party auditors and documentation of audit trails for both qualitative and quantitative disclosures

Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Investor Relations, Internal Audit, GC&S teams, Communications) as well as external consultants and assurance partners

Assist in preparing GC&S-related content for external disclosures, including the annual GC&S report, CSRD report, 10-K, Proxy, and others as needed

Participate in ESG materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement activities

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Bachelor’s or advanced degree; preferred in sustainability, accounting, finance or a related field

2–4 years of professional experience supporting corporate sustainability reporting, audit, or ESG-related work preferred

Strong preference for knowledge of and experience with key ESG disclosure and reporting frameworks, including GHG Protocol, ESRS, GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD, etc.

Experience with internal controls or risk management and familiarity with ESG-related risk assessments

Experience with ESG data and reporting platforms (e.g., Sweep, Workiva) is preferred

Experience with ESG assurance processes or working with third-party auditors is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy; excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

High level of flexibility and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with global, virtual and cross-functional teams in multiple geographies, including the ability to effectively collaborate at various levels and build and maintain strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders

Strong storytelling and communication skills to translate ESG data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders

Effectively prioritizes driving impact to meet shared enterprise-wide goals and deadlines with an ability to work independently
