Instrumentation Analyzer Engineer

you will respond to the Head of Department and be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line within Smaut Dept. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: Interpreting Process data and understanding the requirements stated in the relevant notes and P&IDs; Select the correct measuring principles of analyzers on the basis of the properties or components to be analyzed and their measuring ranges. A thorough knowledge of the measurement principles, their respective advantages/disadvantages and the different economic value that one solution may have over another is therefore required; Select installation criteria for analyzers on the basis of the types of fluid handled, the measurements required, the characteristics of the analyzers themselves, environmental conditions and contractual requirements; Independently perform specialized instrumentation engineering activities with a focus on analyzers (especially gas-chromatographs, CEMS and chemical-physical property measurements) and analysis cabins; Preparing technical documentation for tender requests for material and services for analyzers (ability to use systems such as SPI or similar); Fill-in" technical offer tabulation based on analysis system suppliers; Verification of the solutions implemented by suppliers with regard to the processing of samples for analysis in terms of 1. Intake points (selection of the correct type of probes) 2. Type of transport line (materials, lengths, slopes) 3. Type of sample treatment systems (filtering, cooling, heating, etc.) 4. Possibility of recovery and/or discharge into the planned auxiliary systems (torch, drains, etc.); Verification of the solutions chosen and implemented by the supplier of the analysis package in all their aspects (functional, instrumental, mechanical, civil, electrical, safety). A "multidisciplinary" knowledge of the various issues is therefore required, which, even if not in-depth, must be sufficient to identify unsuitable or insufficiently safe solutions; Interface independently with other engineering disciplines and suppliers in order to identify technically/economically optimised solutions; Follow up the supply, verifying and ensuring the correct preparation within the agreed timeframe, of all the documentation required by contract and necessary for the correct verification/testing, installation and commissioning of what has been supplied; Supporting the Purchasing Department, post-order and Inspectors in the various phases of the Order. What are we looking for? Education:

Educational background in electronics, chemistry or electro-instrumentation/automation Experience:

5 years' previous experience in the study of instrumentation systems for continuous industrial processes and must be familiar with analysis systems, measurement principles and analysis technologies, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector Languages:
