X-Ray Technologist
for a
13-week travel contract
in
Phoenix, AZ .
This position offers up to
$2,800 total weekly compensation , as a combination of a
tax-free housing & meal stipend
and
hourly wage (40-hour work week) .
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technologists seeking consistent hours, modern outpatient environments, and exposure to
DEXA and Fluoroscopy
in a collaborative, patient-focused setting.
Location:
Phoenix Metropolitan Area – Multiple outpatient and hospital sites. Some floating may be required between nearby facilities to support coverage needs.
Shift:
Monday – Friday, Day Shift. Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Flexibility with start/end times may be required to ensure adequate coverage.
Position Summary This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with facility policies and protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality images, patient comfort, and adherence to safety and compliance standards while supporting the imaging team during a temporary contract assignment.
Core Functions
Perform general diagnostic X-Ray exams accurately and efficiently in an outpatient setting.
Support DEXA and Fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
Verify patient identity, physician orders, and imaging protocols prior to each exam.
Educate patients regarding procedures, preparation, and post-exam expectations.
Produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
Maintain patient confidentiality, professional conduct, and equipment cleanliness.
Assist with workflow efficiency, ensuring timely and professional patient throughput.
Minimum Qualifications
ARRT (R) certification required.
Current BLS certification required.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Must demonstrate effective communication, professionalism, and adaptability in a new clinical setting.
Arizona Radiologic Technologist License preferred. If you are not yet licensed in Arizona, our team will guide you through the process and help you get there quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in DEXA or Fluoroscopy imaging strongly preferred.
Previous travel or multi-site experience beneficial.
Minimum one year of post-graduate clinical X-Ray experience.
Compensation & Terms
$2,800 total weekly compensation
13-week contract (with potential extensions available)
