Overview
The Assistant provides administrative support for Directors of Cause Marketing and Sponsorship on the Corporate Partnerships team, including managing correspondence and mail, scheduling meetings, and screening potential partners based on incoming inquiries. This position also supports cause marketing partnerships and corporate sponsorship contract administration and invoicing. The role assists the entire Division with reaching financial goals. This position reports to the Director of Cause Marketing with a dotted line to the Director of Emerging Partnerships & Sponsorship. Location : This position is fully remote with occasional on-campus time in Brookline, MA. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI). Provide administrative support to the Directors for Cause Marketing and Sponsorship on the Corporate Partnerships team. Duties may include data entry, meeting planning, response by phone and/or email to inquiries, and other projects as they arise. Respond to calls and visits from donors, prospective donors, volunteers, and sponsors. Determine prioritization and suggest responses or refer to supervisor as appropriate. Coordinate events, including contracting with vendors and coordinating logistics. Attend select meetings with prospective partners to take notes and assist with call reporting. Process mail and prepare Gift Deposit Transmittals for Cause Marketing and Sponsorship partners. Develop a working knowledge of the fundraising database and support the team with data entry as needed. Utilize Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Canva. Create and maintain office systems, files, information, and project tracking systems. Assist in the design and production of written material such as proposals, brochures, press releases, and correspondence. Attend select events to represent the Cause and Sponsorship teams. Support contract review and sign-off process for all Jimmy Fund corporate sponsorships. Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions. Act as a liaison for some patient partner activities. Research potential corporate partners and sponsors. Support the department in reaching financial goals. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency required. Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred. No work experience required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong customer service orientation. Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Directed and self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office Suite products. High degree of confidentiality must be exercised. Pay Transparency and Equity
Pay Transparency Statement: The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications. For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Salary: $26.82/hour.
