Role Purpose
Develop and manage multi-year equipment upgrade/replacement plans. Develop and manage the preventative maintenance program for all plant support equipment such as the following: HVAC systems, Chillers, Compressed Air Systems, Plumbing, Power Distribution, Exhaust Fans, Roll-Up Doors, etc. Develop, maintain, and upgrade (as required) the Control Systems for Chilled Water, Water Filtration, Compound Delivery and Silos, Building Automation System (BAS), and other Facilities-Related Data Monitoring Systems. Support maintenance on plant processing equipment. Manage and coordinate all outside vendors and contractors supporting the facility in the following areas: HVAC systems, Chillers, Roof Maintenance and Replacement, Roll-Up Doors, Cleaning Services, Plumbing, Exhaust Fans, Lawn Care, and Snow Removal. Day to Day Responsibilities
Establish project plans (scope, schedule, cost estimates, procurement/contracting strategy, project acceptance criteria, etc.) for facilities related projects. Monitor performance and troubleshoot any type of alarms for plant support systems such as the following: Chilled Water, Water Filtration, Compound Delivery and Silos, Building Automation System (BAS), and other Facilities-Related Data Monitoring Systems. Provide project management and coordination for key facilities projects. Assist in the evaluation and verify justification for projects. Establish project teams working with plant and/or outside contractors. Prepare and route Appropriation Requests as necessary. Provide periodic project updates to Plant Personnel and Staff. Support Plant Safety and Environmental Programs. Ensure compliance with external regulatory and internal company policies. BS Degree in an Engineering field, electrical preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities-related project management and working with sub-contractors for general building maintenance and repair. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controls-related programming and troubleshooting. Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts. Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and/or Inventor. Flexibility to learn new processes and equipment. Desire to train on raw materials systems, pollution abatement systems, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and other facilities/BAS systems. Desired Skills
Professional Engineering Registration or PMI certification CFM, FMA certifications LEED Accredited Professional Designation This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $91,827.00-$126,263.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
