Integration Solutions Architect (Senior or Lead)

to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Sapphire Program team in Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX or Seattle, WA. This role requires expertise in the Aerospace & Defense industry to design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions across the enterprise. It focuses on modernizing digital infrastructure and securely integrating critical systems, including ERP, PLM, and MOM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with on-prem and hybrid cloud architectures, modern tech stacks, and the ability to work within both classified and unclassified environments. You will be responsible for designing robust, scalable, and secure software architectures that meet stringent performance, reliability, and cybersecurity standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex operational requirements into actionable technical designs. Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-wide integration solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and resilient Define the technical strategy and roadmap for integrating disparate systems (ERP, PLM, MOM) across the organization Oversee the integration of business-critical systems, primarily ERP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), PLM (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE), and MOM (e.g., Siemens Opscenter) Ensure all integration solutions comply with strict security protocols and government regulations (e.g., NIST, CMMC) Architect solutions that support both classified and unclassified network environments, including cross-domain data transfers Architect and oversee the implementation of secure cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions, adhering to DoD CC SRG and DISA STIGs (e.g., IL4, IL5, IL6) Utilize expertise in hybrid cloud architectures (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure Government) to architect secure and scalable integration platforms Leverage modern technologies such as API gateways, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and serverless computing Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders Conduct technical reviews and mentor junior architects and developers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions Manage the full lifecycle of integration solutions from design to deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement Leverage hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing complex applications Understand cloud-native services (compute, storage, networking, databases, serverless, messaging, security, analytics) Design and deploy containerized applications, manage clusters, and implement orchestration patterns (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, OpenShift, Docker, registries) Design scalable microservices architectures Lead API Gateway management, service mesh, and inter-service communication patterns Manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) Automate deployments, infrastructure changes, and testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) Configure security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) integrated into CI/CD Leverage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) in cloud environments (RDS, Azure SQL) Demonstrate understanding of CC SRG compliance and DoD cloud design implications Implement FedRAMP requirements related to DoD cloud adoption Identity and Access Management (IAM) in cloud environments (AWS IAM, Azure AD) Implement network security principles (VPCs, security groups, ACLs, firewalls, IDS/IPS) Oversee SIEM logging solutions (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) Implement cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, direct connect/expressRoute, VPNs) Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor’s degree or higher 5+ years of experience with software development in Agile methodology 5+ years of experience interacting with business architects, IT function architects, and business executives 5+ years of experience with application modernization, development, and architecture including databases 5+ years of experience with cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google, PCF/Tanzu or similar) 5+ years of experience with systems integration design differences between applications and platforms, and DevSecOps design/development Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

10+ years of related work experience or equivalent Master’s degree or higher Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) 5+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline/CodeGuru) 5+ years of experience working with DoD agencies or defense contractors 5+ years of experience working with distributed teams across time zones 3+ years of experience developing user interfaces 3+ years of experience with ESATS Experience with AI/ML integration in cloud environments Drug Free Workplace:
