Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. A Senior Manufacturing Technical Manager in the Kuiper Customer Terminal Engineering organization will understand customer desires, technology, and business opportunities to design and deliver Customer Terminals to a diverse set of Aviation customers. You understand key problems and analyze multiple solutions working cross functionally to produce the most power efficient, cost effective, technically advanced, lowest cost manufacturing assembly and test, and scalable Customer Terminal available in the market. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Key Responsibilities
Lead projects to ever-evolving customer needs for the continual development and innovation of Customer Terminals. Identify and solve technical manufacturing assembly and testing challenges independently. Responsible for continual improvement of internal design team standards to optimize for manufacturing assembly and testing. Work with a team of engineers, business development leaders, industrial design, customer terminal operations, and product integrity to drive CT performance standardization. Lead projects with widespread impact on CT design, innovation, and implementation. Demonstrate ability to review business cases and analysis models with the business development team ensuring viability of program. Decompose complex problems and distill underlying risks and benefits, and identify straightforward and actionable solutions to reduce risk. About the Team

5+ years of technical product or program management experience 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent 15+ years of experience in either mass production consumer electronics or aviation Experience in Design for Manufacture, Design for Test, Design for SMT, Design for Quality Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Proficient in the use for statics (Cpk, Ppk, Design of Experiments, confidence level, correlation studies).
