Pay Rate: $30-37/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in public finance, debt management, financial planning, or government budgeting.
Experience with municipal bond markets, rating agency presentations, or capital finance is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of public sector debt instruments, financial planning, and budgeting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including modeling, PivotTables, and data visualization); knowledge of ERP systems and financial software preferred.
Ability to perform multi-year financial forecasts, fiscal impact analyses, and capital planning assessments.
Familiarity with relevant standards such as GAAP, GASB, and OMB Uniform Guidance.

The position requires knowledge in theories, concepts, and techniques used in public administration, financial operations, financial analysis, research, change management and project management. Under general supervision, the incumbent should have the ability to perform analytical work, develop financial models, manage projects, and develop policy recommendations.
• Conduct comprehensive research and financial analysis to support fiscal planning, • Analyze trends in data such as operational metrics, revenue, expenditures, fund balances, and economic indicators to assess fiscal capacity and sustainability. • Assist in developing multi-year financial models • Prepare clear, data-rich reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal decision-makers, external stakeholders, and elected officials. • Support continuous improvement in financial analysis practices, tools, and templates used across the department.
