Overview
We are seeking a AEM Developer role in Austin, TX.
This position requires onsite 4-5 days a week. Local candidates only.
Work to be Accomplished We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer to design, build, and maintain interactive digital forms and workflows within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling them to effectively engage with business stakeholders. This includes understanding customer needs, providing clear and concise information, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Form Design & Development: Create and update adaptive, HTML5, and PDF forms, ensuring dynamic capabilities, fillable fields, form templates, Adobe Sign integration, and user-friendly layouts
AEM Configuration: Implement and maintain custom AEM Forms components, templates, and OSGi workflows to meet project requirements
Migration Support: Assist with migration of Adobe Lifecycle Designer forms to AEM Forms; work with business teams to analyze requirements and transition forms to AEM Adaptive or HTML forms
Integration: Connect AEM Forms with backend systems and identity management for seamless data flow
JavaScript & Validation: Develop custom scripts for form logic and data validation
Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Repository / Version Control: Skilled in version control, branching strategies, and deployment
Performance & Accessibility: Optimize forms for speed, multi-browser compatibility, and accessibility compliance (e.g., Section 508)
Collaboration: Work closely with business users, analysts, UI / UX designers, and developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions with AEM Forms technical considerations
Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve form functionality issues; provide ongoing maintenance and deployment support
Documentation: Prepare technical specifications and architectural design documentation for AEM initiatives

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8+ years of experience as an AEM Forms Developer
8+ years of experience in the AEM platform
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Strong customer interaction skills
Working knowledge of content management systems
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of other AEM platform capabilities such as AEM Sites, DAM, and AEM Guides
